 Like all our construction models the kit of the PR 742 is made of metal. The parts are pre-cast and accurate fitting. The kit can be assembled with standard tools. It comes unpainted.
The body parts and Blade are made of 1.5mm thick hard rolled Aluminum. The finished carriers of the tracks are made of aluminum. The tracks and entrance panel are punched out of steel sheets.
Guiding wheels are ball bearing and supported by pre tensioned coil springs. Like the original, the model has swinging tracks. The hood can be taken off, the cabin tilts and the doors can be opened.
The drive system is part of the kit. It is driven by 2 electric motors directly connected and sealed to spur gear transmission. The Blade will be lifted by a servo in the standard version but, can be upgraded to a hydraulic set, which is offered separately.
